Elkan’s Favourite Babysitter is Back

Videos from my Dead Harddisk

It is such a good feeling to wake up early – especially on a Sunday. My
mood is completely opposite of the cold gloomy HK weather. In fact, I am
very very happy today. I managed to recover my precious data from my
old dead harddisk! I am talking about 200GB of photographs, videos and
working files.

I was browsing through some of those "homemade
videos" – and I couldn’t help myself laughing aloud at 6:30am! These were
the classic moments. Thanks to YouTube and Facebook, these content is
now uploaded and will be super safe in cyber-world for generations! Haaa…not sure if Jimmy or Tracy appreciate that. These videos will
certainly tickle many but annoy those who starred in them. (Sigh…if only I have a HD Camera back then…) Enjoy!

Private Screening

Today, we booked a 12-seater theater and screened our own movie! What a fantastic experience to have your own private "cinema"! For only HKD100, you get the big screen, the awesome audio and the superb OSIM leather massage chairs! Imagine all the privacy you have here! Screen your own movie (RA, PG or Homemade video!) and play your preferred subtitles (be it English, Hindi or Chinese). No more boring commercials and tight leg-space. Sit any where and any style you like! Best of all, our home is a lift away. Our children can just leave anytime they want!

Bally Language

Giant Play Mobil

(Photo Taken: "WiseKids Shop at CyberPort" – Before BearBricks, there is the 7.5cm tall PlayMobil! At CyberPort, there is a shop with lots of giant PlayMobil figurines! Originated in Germany and launched worldwide in 1974, 2.2 billions little figures have been produced worldwide. Maybe I should order my own custom-made Playmojo! Lovely!)

Rocky Sunday

Sweet Treat

Layers of smooth shaven ice and thick durian paste, we love the way HongKies prepared these sweet treats! Dessert shops are super popular here – especially after shopping hours. Long queue, small shops, tight sitting space, fast turnover and certainly very lucrative businesses. Pretty strange for my little boy who loves the smell of "Smelly Bean Curd" but hates the smell of our "King of Fruits".

Last Day of CNY – Our Happie & Lucky Lunch

It has been a long while since we have new faces joining our little HK clan. Yesterday (in the good spirits of CNY), 3 new good friends – Danielle, Natalie and Jaslin graced my home with cookies and lots of laughters! For Elkan, it was like his "match-making" session. He was so thrilled to have 3 pretty ladies hugging and holding his hand.

At noon, we had lunch with my 3 rich lonely brothers – Mike, Scott and Harshad. Mike booked a big table at my favourite Western Market restaurant where we had good, affordable dim-sum! Later at 5pm, we went over to Macau for food and shopping. Since we have 2 new Casino Virgins, we decided to tap on their "Beginner’s Luck" to make some fast buck. Our new Lady Luck charmed us. In a short span of 3 hours, we left the casino with at least 150%-700% winnings. (Surely, I can’t give you the exact and breakdown here.) All I can say is – All well ends well!
