Here in Hong Kong, we have just started our movement. We went out this afternoon to rally support from the man-in-the-street and even borrowed some star-power! Check out our star-studded movement. And yes, even Vivian Chow rallied 10,000 concert fans last night to support Ganbatte Nippon!

World’s Largest Rugby Ball

(Photo Taken: Central MTR Station, Hong Kong – Yes, you are seeing the World’s Largest Rugby Ball here in Hong Kong. Made by Cathay Pacific for the Rugby Sevens. This giant ball can contain 3,330 regular-sized rugby balls, is 4.7m wide, 2.9m thick and 2.9m tall. It was produced in India (cos’ no factory in China can do this!), tested and played in Beijing for the Guinness World Record certification. For those who have the balls to give this a kick, here is your chance to bring it home if you are the highest bidder. Bid here at Cathay Pacific Facebook. Right now, the highest bid stands at only HKD15,000. The final bidding amount will be donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross to assist victims of the recent earthquakes in Yunan, Christchurch and Japan.)

The Next Big Thing from Taiwan – 大雕燒

Move aside, Bubble Tea. Here comes another humongous new hit from Taiwan! (Finally, some one has the balls to do it!) Chew it, suck it or swallow the entire stick, these egg-puffs-penis-hotdog (aka 大雕燒 “Big Bird Toast”) come in different flavors, sizes and colors (brown, white, black). It’s a Great Great Movie

I was never a fan of romance comedy or 40-60s oldies. It’s just not my genre of movies. I always think such movies are cliche with the same old boring story lines and cheesy jokes. I always prefers the big blockbusters – original storyline with powerful special effects (like Avatar or Inception). Well, I was damn wrong about these 2 great movies.
非誠勿擾 II (If You Are the One 2) and 大世界 (It’s a Great Great World) are two great movies not to be missed! One reveals a satire of love, life and death, the other traces back the “simple yet heart-warming lives” of those who lived in the 40s. Both movies reveal the most beautiful and vulnerable sides of Man and his complex relationship with his loved ones. Simple plot but compelling story telling. These movies moved me so much (to tears)… prompting me to re-look my own priorities in life. Must watch!
