Have you ever hear an old song which stirs up the memories inside you? It is like traveling through time. You can almost taste the past, feel the atmosphere back then. A strange but familiar feeling, songs do have its magic. It can bookmark the phases of your life.
Perhaps I "burnt" my memories and feelings better in mp3 format – not in jpeg or mov. I can revisit a certain place I have once visited but the sight of the place doesn’t really trigger the "taste of yesterday". It is just "buildings" to me – physical and nothing emotional about. Songs are different – I can even recall my mood back then. Am I happy, sad or nervous?
Whenever I hear an old familiar song, it let me travel back to the spot where I "burnt" those memories and feelings. Like a bookmark of my life, I refresh that part of the memories – I can almost even taste the scent of yesterday’s atmosphere. Is it sweet, sunny, ocean, humid, rainy or cold?
Whenever I hear these songs, images of my past came alive to me. Like bookmark of my life, I could feel and see images right in front of my eyes. Seeing faces, smiles and hearing voices of that moment in time.
