Concrete Jungle

It is Felicia and Elkan’s last weekend in Shanghai (in less than 24 hours, they will be flying back to Singapore!). Wanted to do something really new today. Francis suggested bringing us to the beach. (Yes, the beach club at Shanghai!) But the heat wave may be too harsh on Little Elkan. We decided to check out the popular Shanghai Science Centre. (Lucky we all didn’t go to the beach cos’ it was raining pretty bad in the afternoon).

The Shanghai Science Centre is REALLY HUGE! Not only it is huge, they built a real tropical forest right inside the building! I was totally amazed by the way they showcases their stuffs. It was modern, interactive and very well-thought. We climbed and explored this indoor tropical forest. We saw people playing archery against a robot which never miss the bull-eye. And we visited many experiential zones of insects, fishes and dinosaurs. There was even a spherical dome where you get to watch a 4D-movie!

It is indeed a great place for kids and families. Even the adults are excited about it!
