Tracy’s CNY at Phuket

Our sweet fiery babe is off again – this time to Phuket! Man, I am just so proud of her. Can you imagine this – Tracy is one of the 2 certified divers we had in our clan. Guess who is the other one ~ it is Meijie! Haaaa.. unbelievable! Man, I must take diving one day. Let that be my 2007 resolution – with Tracy and Meijie help of course! (I think it is simply easy…cos’ if bamboo and fats can float and sink, I think I qualify)

The BIG CNY Feasts!

After 4 days in Hong Kong, I took the 1st flight back to Singapore – just in time for reunion dinner with my family and friends. Man, it is really the year of the pig… for the next few days, I will be doing nothing but eating & feasting. I bet I will gain at least 15kg heavier. Buuuurrrp!!!

Man, it must be "Baby Week"! 2 great baby news from the clan!
 
Guess what, MC and Ernie (above) are expecting their 1st "Manchunie" child! And we have the most productive couple "Garivy" (below) ! Ivy just delivered their 2nd 3.5kg boy "Isaac Tan Tze Sian" yesterday (9th Feb 2007). Congrats!

Duliana’s 4Cs

Wanna to write a blog on our SuperCouple "Duju" or "Duliana" back in Dec but I can’t lay my hands on their photos. I must say, they are the most celebrated couple in our clan. Winning "Couple of the Year" award and looking ever-so trendy, I would love to have a reality TV on them. Matchmade in internet, heart-warming proposal and achieving 4C (new Condo-style house, Car, Cat, Career!) in a month! Dun you just love them? (no pun).. Haa… let me list down their new Cs.

New Career
Duuk has found an excellent job after his army days and there are talks that Juliana may be posted up in Beijing/Shanghai early April (not confirm). It is going to be another exciting year for them and I am looking forward to hear from them this CNY. (Elkan too, he be getting his 1st Ang Bao from them!)

Couple’s Nicknames

It is getting really trendy about combining names of couple. In Hollywood, we have "Bennifer"  for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, "Bragelina" for you-know-who, "TomKat" for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. (Note one thing in common, the man’s name came before the woman’s).
 
So, here is a list of our own couple nicknames:

The 1st Birthday of 2007

Can’t believe how this young girl of mine has just turned 32 today. My impression of her stopped at 18…never feel that she has changed over these years.

Feel bad not able to spend the whole day with her. I had to go back to office this morning at 9am to finish some work. Echo and Francis are such great buddies! Echo has been "pushing" me to plan a celebration for Felicia. She started reminding me a couple of days back, trying to plan a surprise birthday dinner for Felicia. Guess she knew I would be busy, she offered to help me to book a nice dining place and even suggested to babysit Elkan for us for a day.

By the time I knocked off from work, it was already 330pm. Echo and Francis met me near my office and offered to help me to run errands (Buying cake, shopping for gift and getting it wrapped). In fact, I have been cracking my head for 1 week what to get for Feli. (She can be quite practical and picky at times). Thanks to Elkan…he was playing with Felicia’s handphone last night and she commended that our dear little boy has damaged one of her phone pads. I examined her phone…man, it was full of scratches and defects. She has been using that phone for 2 years.. Just the perfect gift for her today!

And boy, she loves it.

Dinner was fantastic and Echo’s birthday cake did surprised her a lot. It wasn’t a quiet day for her too, she received so many sms, MSN and birthday calls since the 1st minute of her birthday (from Tracy, Joanne, Kalinda, Meijie, Juliana etc). Man, I was jealous. I had almost nothing for my birthday. Guess I haven’t been a good boy since last year.
